By the end of the course, you will have an understanding of:
- How to action the appropriate procedures on discovering a fire.
- Common causes and risks of fire
- How to plan and execute fire drills and evacuation routes
- Fire safety legislation
- Fire safety precautions
- The chemistry of fire
- The role and responsibilities of a fire marshal/warden
- How to use fire extinguishers – this course includes the option for practical use of extinguishers.
