PASMA Combined

Course Aim

The aim of the PASMA Combined Low-Level Access and Towers for Users course is to ensure that operatives are trained in how to safely assemble, dismantle and relocate low level access units and standard mobile access towers without risk of personal injury to the self or others.

Course Content

The course will cover: 

  • Legislation, regulations and guidance 
  • PASMA code of practice 
  • Assembling, altering and dismantling  
  • Inspection of both low level and standard mobile access towers 
  • Completing of Tower inspection records 
  • Hazards affecting the use of units and platforms 

Theory elements are delivered in a classroom environment and practical areas are delivered in an area with a minimum free height of 6 metres, either indoors or outdoors. 

Assessment

It is beneficial for candidates to have a basic understanding of work at height issues.

Assembly and use of mobile access towers can be physically demanding, therefore users should be physically fit and in good health.

Candidates must come equipped with suitable head / foot protection and gloves. 

Who should attend

Personnel who will be responsible for the assembly, dismantling, alteration, moving and inspecting of mobile access towers.
