Course Aim

The Fire Warden online course covers recognising the causes of fire as well as knowing common fire hazards. The course also covers the steps in a fire risk assessment and how to reduce the likelihood of a fire.

Course Content

By the end of the course, you will have an understanding of: 

  • The hazards and risks associated with fire in the workplace.
  • How fire risk is controlled in the workplace.
  • The principles and practice of fire safety management at work.
  • The role of the nominated fire warden.
Where to attend

Courses are held online. Learners need access to a computer and stable internet connection.

Our Internet Test Centre can be booked for learners to use, if you do not have access to the required equipment, subject to availability.

Assessment

One multiple choice theory assessment.

This course is suitable for anyone involved in the management of fire safety in any workplace, such as, managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens (marshals) and staff working in any area where there is a potential risk of fire.
