This course is designed to help candidates prepare for the CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Operatives Test, commonly known as the CSCS Touch Screen Test (OPS). It provides essential knowledge and practice to ensure you are ready to pass the test and apply for a CSCS card.
Candidates will cover key topics such as general health and safety, manual handling, working at height, site hazards, and environmental awareness. The course includes interactive learning, practice questions, and test-taking strategies to build confidence and improve chances of success.
This short course prepares candidates for undertaking the Operatives CITB HSE test and covers the following:
Understanding of core health, safety, and environmental topics covered in the CSCS test
Practice answering multiple-choice questions in a mock test format
Be fully prepared to pass the CITB HS&E test and move forward with your CSCS card application
Completing this course will prepare candidates to take the CSCS Touch Screen Test.
This course is held at our training centre in Kirkcaldy, and delivered by our team of instructors.
There is no formal assessment for this course. Mock tests are conducted via the CITB Op\Spec HS&E Test app, ensuring candidates understand how to answer the style of questions and cover any areas of concern.
This course would be relevant for people who are preparing to undertake the CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test for Operatives, and are applying for a green labourer card.
A copy of the CITB Op\Spec HS&E Test App is required when attending this session. This should be downloaded onto the candidate’s device via the Apple or Android app store, prior to attending the session.
