Course Aim

IOSH Working Safely is a widely recognised health and safety course designed for employees across all industries. It provides essential knowledge and practical skills to help individuals understand workplace risks and apply safe working practices effectively. Over the course of training, candidates will complete a comprehensive syllabus comprised of four modules:

Module 1: Introducing working safely

Module 2: Defining hazard and risk

Module 3: Identifying common hazards

Module 4: Improving safety performance

Courses are held at our training centre in Kirkcaldy and delivered by our team of trusted instructors, but can also be delivered at your location for groups of 4+ candidates.

Assessment

Candidates will be assessed through a short, multiple choice assessment paper at the end of the course, and a hazard spotting exercise. Those who successfully complete this course will be issued with an IOSH certificate.
