Course Aim

A Risk Assessment and Method Statement course, known as RAMS, provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to write effective and compliant risk assessments and method statements.

This course is suitable for all industries, and will help your business meet the legal requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974), by ensuring you have a safe system of work in place, and your employees are protected.

Risk assessments are essential to ensuring a safe and healthy workplace, and enable you to recognise potential hazards and protect your workers from harm. A formal, written, risk assessment for all tasks undertaken, is also a legal requirement for companies with five or more employees.

Understanding method statements will help you inform your employees how to do their job safely, based on the risk assessment. This improves the awareness and communication of health and safety across your organisation and helps reduce the risk of workplace injuries or accidents.
